Magnetic Stirrer

We present Magnetic Stirrer, which is a type of laboratory device designed for blending and stirring of liquid specimen. It has a flat platform with a built-in rotating a stir bar and magnetic field. The stir bar, normally made from PTFE or glass-coated magnetic material, is placed in the sample beaker or container. When the device is activated, the rotating magnetic field causes the stir bar for spinning, thereby creating a vortex that agitates and blends the liquid contents. It is utilized in biology, chemistry, and pharmaceutical laboratories for the applications like dissolution testing, solution preparation, and specimen homogenization.
