We present Magnetic Stirrer, which is a type of laboratory device designed for blending and stirring of liquid specimen. It has a flat platform with a built-in rotating a stir bar and magnetic field. The stir bar, normally made from PTFE or glass-coated magnetic material, is placed in the sample beaker or container. When the device is activated, the rotating magnetic field causes the stir bar for spinning, thereby creating a vortex that agitates and blends the liquid contents. It is utilized in biology, chemistry, and pharmaceutical laboratories for the applications like dissolution testing, solution preparation, and specimen homogenization. The Magnetic Stirrer offers precise control over stirring speed and can easily be operated at different temperature ranges, making it an essential device for efficient and uniform mixing.
